The views just down from the hotel on the beach were absolutely stunning. I loved waking up to the sight and sound of the Gulf of Mexico every morning. Plus, the complimentary wireless internet access provided by the hotel was a huge plus, allowing me to easily share my holiday snaps with friends and family back home.

The reservation didn't quite match the actual room, and the property seemed a bit outdated.

we stayed at Sugar Sands Beachfront Hotel, A By The Sea Resort and enjoyed the spacious room with 2 queen beds divided by the bathroom and kitchen area. It was perfect for our family, providing enough space for everyone. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the walkout to the beach was fabulous. The staff was outstanding, and the cleaning was the best we've experienced. We appreciated the dedicated people who made us feel welcome and valued.

Had a such wonderful stay on my mini Vacation, and would definitely return here. The rooms were newly remodelled with clean towels, the staff was accommodating and pleasant.

Marvellous and lovely location for our visit to Laguna Beach Estates approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel. Large room, magnificent view of the beach.

The room was super cozy with two queen size beds and a mini-refrigerator, perfect for late-night snacks and drinks. The view from the 2nd-floor Chateau was unbeatable, making it hard to leave in the morning!

I wasn't a big fan of the view from the pool deck room, but that's just me.

Would stay here again for a trip. The hotel is clean, nestled in the new building with courteous and honeststaff. It offers awesome, unbeatable location. You could walk to convenience stores and a grocery store. Ride to the airport takes about 24 minutes.

Incredible beachfront location with jaw-dropping views. Outstanding staff, super clean rooms, and excellent service. All amenities exceeded expectations - from the beach access and sun loungers to the pool and children's play area. Highly recommended for a perfect getaway.

A lot of good options for meal. Very, very nice staff with good manners.

The white rice at the nearby restaurants is to die for—perfect for fueling up before hitting the sandy shores. Plus, the ocean views from the room are breathtaking, and the staff is super friendly. Cons: The mattress felt like a springy brick, but hey, it added some extra bounce to my step the next day. Just roll with it, right? Catch ya later, foodies! 🍽️🌴

We rocked out to True Soul's funky tunes and soaked up the sun at Gulf Coast Jam. The Shell Island Tour was lit, and we even hit the Holiday Golf Club for some friendly competition. The hotel's beachfront location couldn't be beat!

More late-night entertainment options for young adults would be epic.

The location of the hotel was unbeatable - just a short walk away from Laguna Beach Estates. Moreover, it's near the beach, and Pier Park.

Great Hotel! Enjoyed the balcony, ocean view, and non-smoking policy. Staff was friendly. Pool and hot tub were a hit. Kitchen was perfect. Only minor room upgrades needed. Would definitely return!

The room with two queen size beds at Sugar Sands Beachfront Hotel was cozy and provided a perfect view of the Gulf of Mexico. The table-top refrigerator was convenient, and the beach access was just a few steps away.

I would've preferred a larger refrigerator in the room.
